ART GALLERY UPDATED WITH LOAN OF ARTWORK
AND FURNITURE FROM THE PARK HOME

In late November, LCHS received on extended loan from the Park Home its collection of artwork and furniture.  Since then, the staff and volunteers of LCHS have been working feverishly to install the landscapes, portraits and still lifes in our Art Gallery.  The collection includes two paintings by Severin Roesen, as well as works by other mid-to-late 19th century American and European artists.  Two bronze statues and several pieces of the furniture have also been placed in the Art Gallery.  Many of the pieces had been showcased in our Art Gallery from 2001-2004 before returning to the Park Home, but now the Park Home has had them restored, and they are like new.  Come by and see for yourself.
